My Philosophy
As a coach, I strive to foster excellence and support my athletes in all of their endeavours. In addition, I wish to promote strong life skills inside and outside the rink by teaching confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and self-regulation. I coach collaboratively; all of my students have input on their training plan, goals, pathway, and competitiveness. This will be done through constant communication, check-ins, planning, and creating a safe environment where skaters feel empowered to optimize their training and push their limits! I also enjoy getting input from my co-coaches, which provides me with different viewpoints and corrective exercises. I also want to keep skaters involved in the sport for life! Whether that is volunteering, skating from childhood to adulthood, coaching, or even judging, I am committed to continuing the skaters' lifelong passion for skating.
